I was on a short contract as a temp animator at Frontier - a videogame studio in Cambridge, UK. Using 3dsmax I was mostly working on ingame cinematics and helping out with odds and ends during the last few months of development.
I worked on contract at Sega Studios Australia - a videogame studio in Brisbane, Australia. Using Motionbuilder, 3dsmax, and Havok Behavior, I created mostly gameplay animations using motion capture in realistic style. I also had some experience with ragdoll, helped to integrate middleware features, and had some adventures at the motion capture studio.
I worked on the game Space Chimps at Redtribe. I jumped on the project just after preproduction until the game was finished and released. I was part of a a small animation team which handled the project in a very comfortable and commonsense manner, making it a pleasure to work on.
I joined a growing team to work on Looney tunes: Acme Arsenal at Redtribe, working on a healthy mix of character animations, maintenance tasks, and helping out with character rigging and effects.
An 11 second club animation. My take on this clip is a scientist speaking out to others after an experiment has gone horribly wrong...
I collaborated with my supervisor as part of my honors study to make some animated anamorphic projections designed to be seen from specific vantage points. The projected image is distorted to best achieve perspective for the viewing position.
