Be sure to check out my showreel, which is full of my Animation samples, including a detailed shot breakdown.
Between August and October 2011, I was on a short but sweet contract as a temporary animator at Frontier - a videogame studio in Cambridge, UK. I was there to work on Kinect Disneyland Adventures for the last few months of development. Using 3dsmax, I was working on cutscene and staged animations, as well as helping to implement outsourced animation work.
I was part of the animation team, doing some cinematics work and implementing the outsourced animation.
From Febuary 2010 until May 2011, I worked on contract at Sega Studios Australia - a videogame studio in Brisbane, Australia. Using Motionbuilder, 3dsmax, and Havok Behavior, I created mostly gameplay animations using motion capture in realistic style. I also had some experience with ragdoll, helped to integrate middleware features, and had some adventures at the motion capture studio.
I was part of the gameplay teams, creating animations for gameplay. I also had a small dose of research and development for the animation pipeline.
From Febuary 2007 until September 2009, I worked at Redtribe - a videogame studio in Melbourne, Australia. Using 3dsmax, I created mostly combat, cutscene and dancing animations in various styles cartoon and realistic. I also had experience with rigging, scripting, outsourcing, export pipelines, management and art direction.
I was part of a small animation team which handled the most of the project.
I joined a growing team to work on Looney tunes: Acme Arsenal, working on a healthy mix of character animations, maintenance tasks, and helping out with character rigging and effects.
